1. Tao Cabin Inc.

   These terms and conditions are applicable to all guests at Tao Cabin.

   Bookings, Cancellations and Charges

   • All bookings are subject to availability, and the Tao Cabin shall be entitled to refuse any booking on reasonable grounds.
   • Charges will be at the quoted rates, on the terms set in connection with the quoted rate, and may exclude taxes, service charges and items of a like nature where specified.
   • Where specified, advance bookings require payment of the total amount due, and will not be confirmed until receipt of such payment. Such amounts may be forfeited in the event of cancellation or failure to check in on the specified date, in accordance with the terms applicable to the relevant rate.
   • Cancellation policies: Cancellation request must be received 20 days before the scheduled date of arrival in order to receive a refund. There is a 20% cancellation fee on all cancellations. Reservation refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation.
     
   • Alterations or changes to booking details will result in a rate change or additional charge.

   Tao Cabin Regulations

   • Check in time is 3 pm.
   • Check out time is 11:00 am, check out thereafter may result in a late departure fee or an additional night being charged.
   • Pets may not be brought onto the premises with the exception of guide dogs in cabin 1,2,4 and 5.
   • Guests shall comply with all rules, regulations and instructions at the Tao Cabin, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures and registration requirements.
   • The Tao Cabin shall be entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave the premises if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable.
   • Tao Cabin Damage Charges Agreement. In the event that a guest damages the following items, we will charge against guest’s credit card accordingly:Windows $ 300 each, fireplace $300, Stove $500, sofa $100, TV $50, refrigerator $300, microwave $100, dinning table $100, desk chair $50 each, mattress $100 each, carpet deep clean $80, smoke removal $300.

   Child Policy:

   • Children under 13 years of age must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times while on the Tao Cabin's premises.

   Limitation of Liability

   • The Tao Cabin shall not be liable for failure or delay in delivering obligations under the booking contract if the cause of the failure or delay is due to reasons beyond its control. These include, but are not limited to: war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities.
   • The Tao Cabin shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to a guest's property which is:
   • Caused or contributed to by the negligence of the guest
   • Not promptly reported to the Tao Cabin on discovery
   • The Tao Cabin does not accept any liability for loss or damage to a guest's vehicle unless caused by the Tao Cabin's negligence or willful misconduct.
   • Guests shall be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at the Tao Cabin.

   Lost Property

   • Lost and found items will remain on the Tao Cabin's premises for a period of six months, after which time they will then be sent to the local police for a further three months, as per local government regulations. Any perishable goods (such as food, beverages or personal care items) will be disposed of immediately. In the case of large amounts of jewellery, money, or any suspicious or banned items, the Tao Cabin is obliged to contact the police immediately, and await their instructions.
   To claim any lost and found items, a guest should first contact the Tao Cabin. Should contact be made more than six months after the item concerned was found, the Tao Cabin will forward the relevant contact details of the police station, along with reference details of the item to the guest. These will need to be taken to the police station by the guest personally for collection.
